I am having a debate over this right now as the local Post Office lowered right away, and I followed suit at my business as well as my City Hall building. The order has the wording like only federal and public buildings as well as military bases. I was under the impression that it was ALL flags and I'm getting some challenges on this. Can anyone help? As you can, please verify this is correct. Since I had NO OFFICIAL direction this morning, rather than take it upon myself to violate "flag protocol" and fly my flags at half staff without a Presidential Order, I simply flew no flag today.
