Honoring Master Deputy Jillian Olson

The Governor orders that the flags atop the State Capitol be lowered to half-staff from sunrise until sunset on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, in tribute to Master Deputy Jillian Olson of the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department and in honor of her selfless service and supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.

The Governor requests that the flags over state buildings and buildings of the political subdivisions of this State similarly be flown at half-staff for this purpose.
