Governor Walz Orders Flags at Half-Staff in Honor of Senator Lindsey Graham
[ST. PAUL, MN] – In accordance with a proclamation issued by President Donald Trump, Governor Tim Walz has ordered all United States and Minnesota flags to fly at half-staff at all state buildings in the State of Minnesota immediately and until sunset on Saturday, July 18, 2026, in honor and remembrance of Senator Lindsey Graham, who passed away on July 11, 2026.
*“Senator Lindsey Graham displayed a dedication to public service, from serving in the United States Air Force and the South Carolina Air National Guard to a decades-long career in public office,” *said Governor Walz.* “Gwen and I extend our deepest condolences to Senator Graham’s family, friends, staff, constituents, and all others who are mourning his passing.”*
Individuals, businesses, and other organizations are also encouraged to join in lowering their flags.
